Information We May Collect in the 3D Scanning and Printing Process
We also collect information during the 3D scanning and printing process. When you apply for a 3D scan and undergo a 3D scan, you are required to provide your name and contact information as is necessary to uniquely identify the order. The 3D scan process itself provides 3d coordinate data of the shape being scanned. In case of a person being scanned, it will provide the exact shape and dimensions at the time of scanning within the precision of scanning hardware being used for scanning. We reserve the right to modify the scans in order to make them as clean and ready for 3D printing. We may even do some artistic and aesthetic enhancements to the scanned data. We store this digital information on secure servers with access restricted to employees that have a need to access the information and purely for the purposes of the product you have ordered for purchase.
